Troubleshoot browser notifications
In-app unread behavior and optional browser/system notifications are separate.
Open Live notifications
Confirm Sound & system alerts are enabled on the device.
Check browser permission
The site must be allowed to show notifications.
Use Test notification
If the test works, NoteTunnel and browser permission are functioning together.
Remember browser limits
Some notification behavior depends on the browser remaining open or on Web Push being configured for the live HTTPS site.
Use in-app unread as the fallback
Unread badges remain useful even when system pop-ups are blocked.
