Public sharing vs private workspace access

Public sharing and workspace membership solve different problems.

1

Workspace access is private

Members sign in and receive the workspace permissions you grant.

2

A Tunnel share link is specific

Supported public sharing exposes the shared Tunnel view rather than the entire account.

3

Do not place secrets in public shared content

Anyone who receives an active public link may be able to view the shared material.

4

Revoke when access should end

Revoke the link instead of assuming old recipients can no longer open it.

✦
Good to know

Public does not mean searchable by default; the share link itself is the access path.
