Edit a channel header

The channel header can carry context that helps everyone understand what belongs there.

Open the channel

Select the channel you want to update.

Use the pencil control beside the channel title.

Edit the supported header fields such as name, label, or description.

The updated header is visible to people who can access the channel.

Use a description when the channel name alone does not explain its purpose.
